Seconds tick, minutes elapse, hours pass, days go by …
… and as those moments in time become a part of history, we encountered so many unique human beings. Whether we only glance at each other for a forgettable moment, or engage in the deepest of conversations, everyone has a story within the vessel that carries their very souls from one place to another.
Even so, not many take the moment to appreciate those forgettable moments. Sometimes that one smile you notice on a busy train changes your entire morning for the better. Sometimes that one rush of eye contact down a buzzing street fills you with some thrill and joy. At times, a stranger’s aura can be so unique and full of positivity that you feel it from the moment you lay your eyes on them.
…And then there are plenty of times where that isn’t the case.
Unfortunately, the world is filled with individuals who have closed their souls to the general public. They’ve unknowingly become zombies in society, closing themselves off to their inner circles. Moreover, the immense size of this globe has become a mere pebble in their existence.
Is that a problem? Not necessarily. These people have some of the most engaging and deep relationships, however, I feel as if though they’ve lost their unique and adventurous essence.
In doing so, they isolate themselves from the rest of the world because they feel more comfortable knowing than not knowing at all.
I say be adventurous. Learn day to day. Embrace a stranger with a smile and get to learn about their story. Travel the world and get to see that there is more to life than your comfy home where your inner circle resides.
... In no way, shape, or form am I stating that you should ditch your inner circle.
What I’d like to say is that there should be a balance. Enjoy the company of your inner circles, but balance that with adventurous networking. Create various circles of people and unite them. Be the difference between the human beings that close themselves off from the world and those that take the initiative to unite it. Love and positivity will reign free on buzzing streets and busy subway stations because of you.
A smile goes a long way. Trust me, I know sometimes it opens doors you don’t want to open and sometimes you may feel a bit of rejection … but there are different ways of handling every situation and you never know how a smile can positively affect a person's day.
Until next time Julipeep! Sending you and your loved one’s a smile and a wave of positivity.
The world needs it NOW, more than EVER.
PASS IT ON BAYBAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
